Greetings Folks!
I step back to reflect upon the many firsts of 2021... I am so grateful for listening to my body, heart and mind regarding returning to music full-time after a very long caregiving & healing hiatus, and retiring from education after 40 years!
I am doubly grateful for the production of The Long Way Home album, which includes a very talented group of Maine musician friends: Denny Breau, Mike Burd, April Read-Cox, David Wakefield & Jud Caswell.
The release of the CD, including national and international radio promotion was lead and directed by: Kari Estrin- agent/manager & radio promoter; Vanessa Lively - graphic artist & website mentor; Jean Schwartz- mailing and shipping guru; Jake Viache- all things IT and in between... genius and genuine, kind and patient; DiscMakers for their flexibility re: multiple schedule changes and distribution!
Last, but not least... a big thank you! to all the contributing Radio DJs who play the songs that musicians write, especially now while we remain hopeful for healing, gatherings and our new frontier!
I look at this journey with awe and wonder ~ through a new lens, and I will let it sink in fully, appreciating every moment, every step, every hurdle, every raw feeling that was this path.
The STORE is new! I wish to share with you, in a variety of ways, the photographs I have taken in and around Maine ~ giving inspiration to the writing of songs...
